Idea is that L.A reduced the real dollars paid as well as term and leafs reduce caphit to make space for Kappy, Johnny and Marner. The optics make it hilarious but the trade without names makes sense, Leafs get 2 years of an overpaid defenseman, Kings get 1 year of a more overpaid Forward, if the kings want the leafs to sweeten the deal a bit that’d fine, Maybe a 3rd or even a 2nd but that is max, OTT Trade is just to show that they are gonna dump Z one way or another, I’m not gonna make a guess to what it costs or what they’d get or whatever
This D-Core would be very fluid, Rosen would get in sometimes for Phaneuf, Dermott might take shifts with Muzzin and Gudas with Rielly and maybe even Liljegren with Rielly late in a game if you need a goal, the offence though should be three high end lines that can roll out against anyone and the 4th wouldn’t get a ton of time even though I like all of those players I’d wanna give as much time as possible to the top 9
