Philly are really going for it so why not trade one of the blue chip prospects for some immidiate help?

Alright look, this trade may look like a lot for Philly fans but WPG has already stated they would only trade Ehlers if the perfect deal came along. Let's use the Mark Stone trade as a base. He was traded for a top 5 prospect in the league (some may say he's top 10 but many experts believe he's top 5), a 2nd round pick and a roster player. Obviously Stone is a better player than Ehlers but I still believe Ottawa could have gotten more for Stone.

In this trade, there's Morgan Frost (considered a top 10-15 prospect in the league), Hagg (roster player) and a 3rd. We must also take into consideration that Ehlers is a few years younger than Stone, which raises the value just a bit.

With Kevin Hayes signing that big contract, the Flyers are set down the middle with Couturier, Hayes and Patrick. There's no room for Frost so why not trade him for help on the wing and go for a cup run? The Flyers still have plenty of great prospects in Farabee, Ratcliffe, Myers, Rubtsov.

For Winnipeg.. Center depth is a problem. Frost already seems like a can't miss center prospect who should comfortably slot into a top 6 role within the next year or two. They also a receive a much needed pick plus a capable defenseman.
