Description

It's just about the trade and I'm just curious to hear thoughts on both sides.

I think Holland would have to stronly consider this. Yes, it's the 1st round pick. It's also $4M in cap off the books and Gus would fetch a HAUL @ the TDL if he can't extend him...PLUS Ian Mitchell doesn't have 2nd rounder value. He (arguably) played better than Bouchard at world juniors.

Well the actual value isn’t far off. I still think Edmonton declines. We need forwards and no way Chicago will add Strome or the Cat. I don’t see anyone else Edmonton would be willing to take for the 8OA and 1 year of cap relief that could be moved for less.

The Only reason I could see Edm giving away is 1st... it's to give away Lucic... not Gagner!

I see this as getting a first for taking on Lucic. So then you get Gustaffson and Anisimov for Pool. Hawks wouldn't do that.
