I'd love the Oilers to go after Subban, but here you have the Oilers literally blowing up all the players they've acquired in the last 5 years. Not worth it. Oilers become an older team, while trading players who all under performed last year.
I dont see either team willing to shake it up that much. But mainly I dont see Edmonton wanting to trade all that young talent for 1 prime dman, and 2 guys on the decline, plus move down in the draft! Eberle isnt likely to move after the chemistry he showed with McDavid, but Hopkins or even Hall could get moved.
