I could live with this except for Colorado trade. Hornqvist would bring in more value. Also swap Bjugstad for Gudbranson and just try to get something for him.

I don't know what Hornqvists trade value is tbh. He's still an above average contributor, but health issues on that long term contract may scare off teams. My logic; top 4D for Top 6 winger. Picks could be added to even out the value I suppose.
I don't even mind Guds, ideally he'd be replaced with a cheaper option though. I know it's probably not going to happen signing Pavelski but if that happened there's no need for Jugs. I'd rather the 4 wingers in the top 6 over him anyway.

If we traded Guds I'd take a run at a UFA D like Hainsey, Stralman, Benn or Chiarot.

way to much and long for Jopa
He's already 34.
Puljujärvi is described in edmonton as "lacking work ethic" how you think that's going to work out? I'd pass.

Since Pavelski has turned 30 he averages 32goals/69pts per year. Pretty damn good. 3x7.5 is not bad at all for that production, not to mention hes a good playoff performer and has great advanced analytics.

Puljujärvi is 21 and definitely needs a change of scenery, I'd gamble Rust for a guy who I believe has a ton of upside. We can replace rust, if Puljujärvi reaches the ceiling a lot of people think he has he'll be 2x the player rust is. To me it's a worthwhile chance to take

Yeah, I feel the same on Hornqvist. Guds I am fine with, just not that contract. Pavelski yes is very unlikely but it would be great for us!!

I think Stralman might cost to much. Hainsey would fit nice with the system (since he knows it)

If no Jugs then maybe sign another decent cheap winger to go on 3rd line. Like possibly: Perry, Noesen, Aberg, or bring back Archibald or Kunitz!
