petterson is practically untouchable at this point. behind dumo he's our only serviceable LHD that can play top 4.

well i mean the pens have made some questionable trades and signings for obscure reasons JR has gained tanev, gudbranson and the icing on the cake Johnson. They moved kessel and apperantly letangs name has come up . . . so I mean JR is a sack of cats crazy. I'd expect anything to happen at this point. Not that the pens should make these moves but I believe the only untouchable is crosby maybe malkin. I like when the pens go deep because they have one of the best players in the world and the nhl fans deserve to see the best. JR is ruining this team but yet brought it glory so it's weird.

I don't know what on earth happened to him. this was the same guy who turned Scuderi into Daley, Sutter into Bonino, underperforming Perron into hagalin, a third into schultz, added kessel, etc... hes made a couple solid moves since 2017 but majority have been risky to downright ridiculous. this team was built on the philosophy of speed. now hes trying to turn this into a hard hitting slow team. as a fan its frustrating to watch because under good management, pens could still contend for several more seasons. now they could be on the verge of missing the playoffs...

It's a sad time considering the team is destroying themselves it would be different if age was taking them down but well yeah the philosophy of speed changed to face punching tom wilson really did a number on JR. it's cool to see other teams accelerate but this is pedaling towards mcdavid carrying the oilers territory
