At 9.3, Marner gets more term. Maybe Dermott gets a longer contract at a higher price (4.5mx5years is my guess, similar to Gardiner's second contract). I think Sparks won't come back unless he has a McElhinney-type season, Joe Woll could be ready by 2020-21 to become the backup to Andersen. Pysyk is a good add. That D looks really good.

Pysyk... really? Leafs have multiple better options for cheaper on the marlies. Lilly plays 2nd pair and one of Hollowell, Duszak or Lindgren comes in on bottom pair.

Those guys aren't sure things. If the space is there, I'd rather have a guy like Pysyk over an AHLer/ NHL 7th D. Of course, things could change and one/several/all of them could impress, but for the time being, I don't see "surefire NHLer" on any of those 3 guys.

I would rather get someone who doesn’t suck... probably better options out there and most likely a 1 year deal to a vet if one of those 3 aren’t ready. Lindgren has been progressing very well, Duszak and Hollowell already look good. Sandin is going to climb the depth charts and push Dermott either to the right side or off the team.

How? Behind Rielly they can both play.
