Detroit doesn't have room for Shattenkirk, they have Hronek and Cholowski who will be on the team that Capfriendly has listed in the minors. Regardless, a 2nd rd pick swap is hardly enough for Detroit to take 6M+ D they have no use for

Just because he’s not a cap dump doesn’t mean Detroit wants him. Dmen on the roster: Hronek , Cholo, Bowey, Daley, Green, Nemeth, Ericsson, and Dekeyser (at the very least, all of these guys). And don’t point out that Shattenkirk is better than a couple of them. Just because we already have overpaid bottom pairing dmen doesn’t need we need more of them. No room for Shattenkirk, no desire for him, and definitely not taking him for this crap incentive
