It would likely cost Kravstov or Fox to get Patrick. Maybe a package with Lias, but would include K'Andre Miller or similar asset as well.

LA Kings would want a prospects or young players in that deal over 3 picks. Shattenkirk has negative value right now, so would have to part with at least a Rykov, Lindgren type player as well.

A deal for Martinez that includes Shatty would probably look something like this: Shattenkirk, Barron, Rykov, 2020 1st

Please stop trying to evaluate hockey games. Shattenkirk has more "value" than Martinez who can't defend. The difference in cap hit is enough to make up for difference in players. It's a 1 to 1 swap if you go by on- ice value.

Come on man, this is common sense 101, Alex is a good NHL defenceman, Shat is not. Put these players in a different scenario/team and that cute chart doesn't mean squat! Apparently nobody wants Shat even @1/2, cause @ 2x3.325m is still not appealing. If they were both UFAs, Alex would get close to 5m and Shat would be a short/pudgy show me deal close to 3m.

You are trying to convince me with an adjusted +/- chart? Show the same charts for Ivan Provorov, Zack Werenski. I seriously encourage you to post them here. Maybe try to deal Shatty straight up for them. I mean, if the charts say so...Shattenkirk must have more 'on-ice value', right? My guess is that you be laughed at again.

If you want to remain the lone believer in Shattenkirk's ability, be my guest. But he lost the confidence of his coach, who benched him and called his career into question publicly. He lost the confidence of his GM, who is about to buy him out (at significant cost next year). He has lost the confidence of professional hockey observers and evaluators, who say he is slow, ineffective and no longer capable of playing power play for any team. And from all I can tell, he has lost the confidence of most Ranger fans.

The only trade NYR could make with him involved would be one where they pay a team to take him. Like I said, he has 'negative' value.
