It seems like a good idea by itself but, considering Seth Jones has 3 years left... I think it would be difficult signing both top 2 Defensemen in the same offseason.

Edit: Maybe make it 5 years and + $2M

CBJ seem to be in good cap position to offer Werenski bigger money with long term if they want to go that route. (and if Werenski agrees).
People talk about Marner and his "RFA bar". But look at 8m Trouba has he set the bar for Dmen. Maybe it's 7.5m X 8 for Werenski.

because it appears that Provorov, Werenski & McAvoy are all playing waiting game. One signs, the other two will get more so I want Werenski to sign now so McAvoy also signs soon. Simple.
