Description

Wings are looking to retool under Steve Yzerman.
Larking, Mantha and AA look really good and are great centerpieces to this team.

Abdelkader w/ 4 years left is still rough and it looks likely that he gets overtaken on the depth chart and ends up spending a majority of the year in the press box.

I think they move Daley at the deadline for assets as he's UFA. Hronek and Cholowksi should get a look during the season.
Seider could make an impact in a few years.

No where close to a playoff team but the strides in the right direction have been taken.

The Wing's are letting Ericsson finish his career in Detroit but I don't see Yzerman letting him impede prospect development. So I expect him to be a healthy scratch quite a bit this season. With Daley maybe he gets moved at the TDL but will he be heathy at the TDL. Maybe if Detroit keeps him in the hyperbaric chamber till the TDL so he's fresh.
