neither team accepts that trade. Quantity over quality for both deals. CBJ comes away like bandits on each deal

Absolutely. The only team getting what they want is Columbus. Also Dubois is only able to sign a 3 year entry level contract not 4 year.

Would you be willing to take four of another team's shitty players for Wennberg or Atkinson? Why in the hell would either of those franchises give up a star for a handful of garbage?
