Capitals is my team, but what fun is it to be interested in the league if you don't have a decent idea of your opponents?

This is my outside look for the Avalance line-up. Is it reasonable or do you - fans of the team - see other likely line combinations or pairings at defense? Who's got that special chemistry with another players etc.

I think I have a fairly good idea about forwards. The first line is set, and fourth, but the middle-six have some different combinations. For me, from an outside view, I'm not sure about the combinations on defense. Are Cole and Johnson likely to miss the opening of the season? Are they IR or LTIR? Will Byram get into the roster full time or have a 9 game period at the start of the season? I value some input on this, as always, from the fans who knows most about it.

I assume Rantanen will sign, and surely more than a year, but I did this just for the sake of predicting this roster.

not an avs fan but looks decent to me besides cole cuz hes injured i believe

Think Cole & Johnson will both miss start of the season; likely IR since COL have enough cap space

Cole will miss some time, he will go on IR. EJ will likely be ready for the beginning of the season. he is already on the ice participating in some drills
