Description
Capitals is my team, but what fun is it to be interested in the league if you don't have a decent idea of your opponents?

This is my outside look for the Wild line-up. Is it reasonable or do you - fans of the team - see other likely line combinations or pairings at defense? Who's got that special chemistry with another players etc.

I know Koivu is likely the second line center, when healthy, but who would you bump down from a top six role? Donato should ideally have top six minutes to get the most out of him. Koivu would be an excellent 3C, with experience and being a good at faceoffs. However, that makes 2C a problem at faceoff, because is either Donato or Kunin the guy to to that, and drive plays to that extent of a 2C?

The blueline isn't a concern. The top four might be top of the division, as a group. Goalie tandem is set too.

I assume Fiala will sign, but I only put it as a one year deal for the sake of being able to predict the roster. If it's a bridge deal or longer term, I don't put any aspects on that.

Honestly, and it's not because I'm Swedish, but I'm interested to see if Victor Rask can bounce back. His pre-season kitchen injury derailed his season and never seemed to get going. However, he has had two 30+ and two 40+ point seasons in his career, before last season.

Believe Zuccarello will on L1 and Zucker on L1 (or L2) but LW. Fiala slides to RW. Idk if they will keep up the Greenway-Kunin-Donato line so... 4th line and D pairings are probably what they are going to do (or maybe Spurgeon on RD1/Dumba RD2 and Hunt in-and-out of the lineup with Seeler/Pateryn).

Boudreau said depending on how Koivu is at camp, he may start on the 4th line. Remember he just came off of a major surgery, so who knows how he'll play.

Lines aren't far off from what Boudreau said he's thinking.

Zucker/Staal/Zuccarello
Parise/Kunin/Fiala
Greenway/Ek or Koivu/Donato
Foligno/Ek or Koivu/Hartman

Defense will be interesting. Suter/Dumba and Brodin/Spurgeon gives them a more balanced top 4, but Suter prefers playing with Spurgeon so we'll see how that goes.
