Vancouver wouldn’t want Laine, and even if they did they wouldn’t do this.

If Laine want 10M+, the only choice he have is: ottawa, LA with a trade include other player, Anaheim and Columbus. And colorado if avalanche want to trade Rantanen for Laine ( but i'm not sure they wanted to do that). So if he want to play in the NHL and be in the playoff, he's better ask for lower money. I'm not sure other team wanted to do a big trade to aquire Laine and pay him over 10M

Ottawa would do it if it didn't include Chabot, Brannstrom, Tkachuk, Batherson or their 2020 1st.
I think LA would think about it because they have so many offensive prospects and could trade someone.

Unfortunately I think an OTT trade would have to include one of those. No other way to match the value
