I agree, what is the fascination with Laine, where teams give up good regulars, futures and take on a whole lotta more cap for one player.
Last year Laine scored five more goals than Niederreiter.

You're right Eli there is a price...but I'm not sure what it is. Your trade makes sense....It's one year of Faulk, three years of Niedrreiter and the pick for four years of Laine. Helps the Jets immediately in two positions shorter term, and Canes should get the long term benefit of the supposedly better superior Laine.
