The top 6 is so interchangeable. Meier and Cooch off the bat would be top line time, but Gambrell isn’t a surefire success for top line time. Hertl and Kane easily can play top line time and be successful but labanc would be better suit for 2nd line time IMO.

Idk if it’s the best idea but I’m putting Kane - Hertl - Gambrell as line 1 for a couple reasons. Hertl and Kane and big guys, big bodies and Hertl is a stud. Hertl and Kane could put up quality minutes and Gambrell has to big bodies to play off who both are skilled with the puck and can create space with the already mentioned size or with speed as both Kane and hertl got wheels. Gambrell wouldn’t be relied on as a shooter either as Kane is also a good shooter and hertl is just good at everything ;)

This leaves Meier - Cooch - Labanc on our 2nd line which is really a top line talent line. Saves Labanc from the big boy minutes until he’s transitioning nicely than this line can be our first line (even tho this line will be almost for sure starting as 1st line I’m just putting my take on it).

Depending on the moves made the sharks could create 4-5 mil in cap space at TDL to acquire someone. That is big money, a luxury not a lot of teams have. This team is strong right now but not super strong, and we’re relying on a lot of kids, which isn’t a bad thing but it’s something that’s nagging at the back of your mind.

Gambrell over Bergmann? He's been the most impressive so far.

Ferraro might be up at the start, but I still think he needs a year in the A to come together. He and Merkley will likely be the Sharks 3rd pairing next season.
