Ej is ready to start the season, Cole is ahead of schedule already skating, on pace to be back by mid November. Their backup is francouz unless he gets injured so they are good there. Colorado would have around 4-6 mill after rantanen signs, I assume they want the space in case a player comes available at the deadline that they really want

Colorado is not a cap dump team, they are a contending team, at least this early on in the season
