That is one of the best returns I've seen for Ristolainen I'd take the trade but I'm not a Buffalo fan.

With Weber and Petry there he wouldn't have to play defense, just put him out on the pp and offensive draws

The Chiarot signing in the off season was terrible. Think you're right. If the Canadians had waited when all the free agent madness had ended, they could have picked up better value elsewhere. Heck there might be some teams rights that are cap strapped that might have given the Habs a competent LHD.

Might be a fair return for Ristolainen as posted. Can Habs get a needed LHD for Drouin?
