This is year 2022. The window should be opened at that point. I assume Domi, Suzuki and Danault are at least 60 points players.
Gally 30 goals. Drouin, Poehling and KK are 50 points players (KK not yet a star).

As you can see, I've resigned UFA's who I think are our core players : Danault, Gallagher, Domi. Suzuki and Poelhing will also be part of the core I think.

Should we re-sign Mete, Tatar, Petry, let me know ???

So we have incredible depht, but still no stars. And it's obvious that the team is way too small for playoff hockey. With more than 15 millions in cap space, who do you think would be the players that could be added to make this team a contender.

Id trade Petry for a great first in 2020 (like 12-16), but id keep Tatar.

Pretty sure Petry will be traded at TDL this year as Fleury will step up his game. Habs won't be in a playoff spot. Unfortunately, no team out of playoff will trade a 1st in a really deep draft year. So it will be something like 1st (25-31) + a decent prospect (middle 6/top9) prospect.

Also, you have 2019 picks, 2020 picks, 2021 picks to consider. Probably 1-2 out of them will play at this moment
