I don't think he's underrated. Criminally underpaid, yes, but that's his own fault.

I think that Couturier is pretty universally considered to be an elite two-way centerman, maybe a step below Bergeron and Kopitar when they were at their best (the former might still be), but in the same tier as Barkov and O'Reilly.

If everyone says he is underrated, then how underrated is he?

I have heard this from countless fans of all kinds over the years, and at this point he cannot be considered a underrated player.

He is damn good at doing that hockey thing, and everyone knows it!

Barkov is the 2nd best 2way C in the league now

First comparing him to ROR and Kopitar is hilarious. Couts is the 3rd best center in the league imo but there is a real argument for him being the best player in the NHL.
