Bear is way more likely to sign a bridge deal IMO
Also i think it takes more than a second (especially if we keep playing the way we're playing, lower pick) to get staal, and benning isn't worth a second (depending on how VAN does, but their second is probably mid range, and benning is worth a low second, high third)

Unfortunately, based on his current play, Kreider could go for this. Similarly to how Dzingel and Marcus Johansen signed for less than expected this offseason because teams didn't exactly know what they were...He certainly should not get 7 playing the way he is. He's capable of dominating when he's on the ice, but until he does that this season, no way the cap hit goes above 6 on a new deal
