Question-Did Connor Murphy get good? I don't remember him being worth anything close to a 1st, but I also haven't watched him in a year or two.

Ya he's a great shutdown defenseman. Plus WPG is a playoff team and in desperate need of defenseman.

I guess I'd just assume that if they were moving a 1st, they could probably do better. Maybe not though.

Murphy has an extremely team friendly cap hit for a player of his caliber. For reference Niklas Hjalmerson makes 5mil a year and has less offensive upside than murphy
