The CHI trade isn't too far off. Take Zack Smith off our hands. Maybe make the 3rd a 2nd. As is, the Hawks could probably get more, but his value is decreasing.

brook has a higher ceiling than any of the players mentioned. no thanks from mtl

isnt Gustafsson struggling hard ?
i saw he was demoted from top LD last year to bottom LD this year .
Keith and Gustafsson averaged around 23 minutes minutes last year
this year Keith's back up to his usual 25 minute mark with Gustafsson averaging under 20 minutes .

Gustafsson went back down to the same numbers he put up his first 2 years which means 45 points less to be expected .
he had a great year but has done nothing to show he's gonna make a push for top 4 again let alone hit the 50+ point mark .

i'd take him but to be honest i kinda feel like this offers close given what we paid for Petry maybe two 2nds would be fair but anything more for a pending UFA is to much
