I debated on top 5 or top 10. What made me lean to top 5 was the term on the contract. Term is just a little scary with extensions like Heiskanen, Hintz, Gurianov, and evening Faksa coming up. Idek if these teams are a match but I thought I’d give it a g

Fair enough, but the Blackhawks are (probably, I don't even know anymore) not a bottom 5 team by standings alone. Top 10 protected makes this deal a yes for me.

Chicago retains 25% of Seabrook's salary and trades him. Then his new team retains 25% and trades him to the team that will use him.
