Which EDM D prospect projects higher: Bouchard or Broberg? I would agree to let the Oilers decide which of the two players they'd rather trade.

Why would Edm do that without an extension in place?
Especially to Edm, I woudl think they woudl be gun-shy of this.
That first is protected and I don't think it woudl ever happen to begin with.
Gotta remember, Chia's not there anymore!

Why do any teams overpay for deadline trades? Because they have a chance to win the Cup and don't wanna miss an opportunity. Especially when you have two of the top 5 players in the league and have made the playoffs once in forever years.
