The Kings can just eat Kovalchuk's contract this season and next. They don't need to take on an additional 3 years of hot garbage.

CapFriendly shouldn't even allow users to add Seabrook into a trade, almost like "undroppable" players in fantasy football, because he is 99.99% not tradable with that contract, and he has a full movement clause that he is never going to waive.

Don't think Kings would take that and I wouldn't like to give up our first this year if we aren't making playoffs as there is apparently a deep draft pool.
