i dont think Strome gets 5aav. i'd opt for a 4-5 year at 4mil. i think these middle tier players are losing a lot of barganing power. as much as i have liked strome since the trade, i don't think he is a top tier player.

i'd hope they can ship out smith and not buyout, i think Kurashev is in next year.

Defence wise, i really think they trade for a top 4 performer. need a little more experience up there.

as for Lehner, like the term, and aav is probably were it will end up i hope a little lower though.

TBL declines. He is a good defenseman but we have Hedman, McDonah and Sergachev on the left and Shaattenkirk on the right. Plus we will not be able to resign him.

Gus plays primarily on the right side. Are you saying you would rather have Jan Rutta than Gus?

99% agree, only thing is that, if we want to be contenders, I think this team is still missing one top 9 winger. Nylander and Raddysh would likely serve a similar purpose and would become redundant. If we could trade for a playmaker who can set up Dach and Kubalik or Nylander on the third line, that would be absolutely ideal. Not sure who that would be though.

There are D man available to require that top 9 winger. I wonder if Dach is being groom to play wing. I like to see him get some power play time. Watching Kubalik briefly play on pp with Toews & Saad ... it looked like there was some chemistry.
