Ceci to anywhere helps the cap problem. teams will probably want more because its a big favor i guess but im not sure how much it could be. bernier deal i think is plenty and the CBJ 3rd rounder could be in the 70's. could retain only 500k as well which makes it less but good to have cap.

I'm for these ideas, I'm a huge fan of our forward depth right now but am always worried about pulling someone from that group for a trade.

What would the team look like without Johnsson? In my mind, it doesn't really hurt us. Mikheyev has been terrific. With Spezza playing well as the 3C, and Kerfoot, Hyman, Engval and Moore, I think you could move out Johnsson and not really miss a beat. I'd move Johnsson for Lehner or Crawford. This would allow the Leafs to play Andersen less and still get above average goaltending. That could be huge for this season.
