he was sent down to the vhl. what would make anyone believe he is ready for the nhl. let the kid play the play the season in the ahl, if he plays good give him 8 games at the end of the season.

he was sent down by the AV of the KHL-- only would play veterans. On top of that, Traktor was the absolute worst team in the KHL so it's the equivalent of asking a player to be really good on a team like Detroit. Yes he should be going down to Hartford, but he should also be playing above Haley or McKegg. He'll be up in the NHL before the end of the season-- his fate is probably tied to Kreiders imminent departure

his contract isn't slide eligible-- so the game limit doesn't matter. even if he stayed in the KHL a year would have been burned
