You overpaid for Brown. If they were to move Borgen it would be for something more substantial then 35 year old almost 6 million dollar Dustin Brown. I also do not think Pitt wants Sheary back.

You don't know anything about Dustin Brown and the Kings are never trading him. 50-60 point "35 year year old" is worth every bit of his almost 6M....

I know plenty about Dustin Brown. He is a great leader and someone who can provide some secondary scoring. From a Sabres perspective that trade makes no sense. He would play on our third line and that is too much money to play a third liner. Will Borgen is more valuable to the future of Buffalo then Dustin Brown is to the present.

He'd be on the 2nd line playing right wing, but you're right. It does not make sense for either team, like at all...

No he'd be on the 3rd line but it makes a ton of sense. LA gets an NHL ready d prospect. Buffalo gets a gritty vet with 2 rings who mnows how to win in the playoffs. Blake doesnt care about nostalgia, the vets will get traded or he will lose his job
