I find it hard to believe that Doug Armstrong or anyone else in St Louis management thinks that the Blues need Tomas Tatar that badly.

Even if the Habs could get a could return for Tatar...should they? Tatar is a good player, Montreal has cap. The idea is to make the playoffs, give your fans and players hope for the season, not to endlessly trade for picks hoping down the road they turn into a good player.,

If it's truly about the future, trading a 29 YO winger while his value is at an all time high is well worth it. He has 1 and a half years on a very good contract and he will be out of his prime and a UFA when we are ready to compete.
