I wouldnt give all that up for campbell, lilly is better then roy and deserves to make the team. out of the wingers they have I dont mind trading the ones you proposed I just dont like the return enough. how about johnsson, bracco and timashov for campbell, walker and a 2nd or 3rd

Also don't give Muzzin that much term. He's going to be 31 when he signs his next contract. He won't be worth 5 million at 36. My guess is he'll be a bottom pair vet within 3 years. Its becoming exceedingly rare for players to even last in their mid 30's paying them their biggest contracts of their careers when they will almost certainly be declining is just a mistake.

I totally agree with you there. I'm curious as to what fans would give Muzzin as opposed to reality. Without looking into the cap situation of the Leafs I would probably give Muzzin 2 years @ 6 and hope he wouldn't be offended. Because he is really really good. It just comes down to the number of fully healthy games he could really provide moving forward. IMO

Dubus has made it pretty clear he is more than willing to pay top dollar to sign a player for the duration or through their prime, I'll be very very surprised if Dubus signed a 30 yr old any longer than 3 years
