Chucky will be dealt. Two options with how this can go...
1) Chucky swapped for another rental. Example would be Granlund from NSH. I would assume a Chucky + 3rd/4th for Granlund + 6th/7th may be an okay deal for both sides.
2) Chucky part of a bigger deal who is not a rental. Names that come to mind are Zucker or Saad. Bjugstad may be included in this deal, but not too likely. A 2nd + prospect like Hallander would probably be included. I cant see and do not want the Pens to move any of their main prospects or their 1st.
*Bjugstad: Kept till the end of year (if not dealt before), but then dealt in the summer. McCann probably keeps his 3C role moving forward.
*Murray: Depending on how much he asks for and what player we end up acquiring, a trade in the summer may be a possibility.
1) If we acquire a rental and DO NOT resign, I can see us wanting a solid forward back in a trade for Murray.
2) If we acquire a rental and DO resign him/go for a big fish in the free agent market, I can see the Pens wanting picks/prospects and young roster players.
3) If we acquire a player who is already signed long-term, same approach as #2.


*I know there are forums where I can post this kind of stuff, but armchair-gms seem to get more traction. Are these legitimate thoughts? Is this a feasible future?
