Description
Just my thoughts on what might happen.

What is not clear is when Leivo can get back, it will be close to playoffs or during. But what is clear at this point is Schaller goes down when healthy.
Hes the best choice, saves a couple cents on the cap and Motte does his job better but cheaper and he cant play 2nd line minutes like Eriksson or Leivo. Shallatov out.

Ferland stays in the bottom 6 + The Lockdown Line.
I love the guy but he has barely played any hockey this year. Unless hes able to get in the lineup soon and is able to form some chemistry with Horvat and Pearson he will probably play on the 3rd or 4th line for the remainder of the year. Theres no way Green hands him that spot over Boeser, Virtanen, Leivo and especially Louie whose formed the recent Lockdown Line with them which has been very effective against other teams top lines. Green confirmed Ferland will not be on this upcoming road trip and replied with a grim, "I dont know when he will be back." When asked in the presser about him after the Blues win.

Jake stays on the top line.
With 21 points in his last 24 Jake is heating up and you can see his confidence. Some slick hands and smarts are showing he is improving as a player. He also makes this line heavier on the forecheck. He and Miller have been very effective retreiving pucks of late.

The New Playoffs Third Line
Ferland finds his fit with Gaudette and Boeser! Let me know what you think about this line, I think it'd be sick. They could do some serious damage to the other teams bottom 6, big hits and big cellys. Or they could get scored on alot.. Who knows, lets see it!

A 4th line that can eat minutes.
I really like all those guys on that line, heart and soul guys. I also think they dont get the respect they deserve sometimes, kinda like Eriksson to a lesser degree. All are NHL calibre when healthy Sutters just not worth the money he makes. Have Elite penalty killing ability and Sutter/ Beagle are great on draws.

No big changes on the blueline. The top pair gets the matchups when possible and the other two rotate minutes like they have been. Has really been working with getting all our guys minutes and spreading the load.

I don't think Gaudette has been playing that well recently. Sutter just came back and is likely going to shake off the rust pretty soon and when he does he could take the 3C spot back. That put's Boeser in an even more awkward spot, but Gaudette will probably need a reset soon. This is his first full year and he's already played more hockey to this point than he has in any of NCAA seasons.

That 3rd line as you have them now isn't fast enough. I don't see Roussel coming off that line for any reason to be honest, whether he's being centered by Gaudette or Sutter.

I would expect Leivo to go back to his spot with Horvat once he's healthy as well. Eriksson has been good recently, but Leivo was actually heating up production wise right before his injury.

To be honest, I'm not sure if Ferland can come back into this lineup. The coach hasn't been able to find a fit for him in the lineup and I doubt he'll want to experiment down the stretch.

Side note, it still hurts to look at that Myers contract. Stetcher has been a better option that him in the top 4 for most of the year but will likely be pushed out due to that contract. That's terrible.

Every Peg fans were saying Chiarot Myers were bad. Chiarot is doing very good with MTL, doesn’t seems the same for Myers
