Description

Just looking to see how the Backstrom signing might affect other things withint WAS and consequently the goalie market in the off season.

Take best available with the #7 pick. Take best available forward with the CAR 1st rounder. Draft 1 forward, 1 D, and 1 G with those (3) 2nds.

Give Holtby another chance. Mrazek can be a decent backup. He's just proven he's not a starter. Heck, Mrazek is on a 1 year deal still so he can be flipped if the Hawks are bad again. Keep accumulating assets. It's not the sexy move, but it's how the hawks started on their path of success and hopefully they can do it again.
