Jets would need to retain on byfuglien probably about 2 million and he would have to prove he wants to play, ideally so Wild could play him a sell him to a contender next year if he can rediscover his game. I've heard he is working his way back, now that his surgery on his ankle is in the rehab state.
Also Jets would need to offer a better prospect than Niku.

Stanley also or poolman and stanley, or what did you have in mind. Was hoping Chevy could scoop rookie gm guerin. Min is such a squad stuck in between with big contracts suter and parise, and can’t really go into a rebuild with them on books.

What’s next for min to knock them out of yearly bubble status.

HEINOLA and NIKKANEN though Stanley is interesting. Poolman is to old for a rebuilding team.

Heinola and samberg probably not on the table, and could be a sticking point that way. But having both Stanley and niku need to be protected or possibly lose to Seattle, that could be in the conversation. Basically looking for a top pairing dman for third protection spot
