Description
If EDM and DAL are in playoff contention at the deadline and the Jets are out. CBJ trade is just a hockey trade. Depending on how each plays between now and then there might need to be some sweetener. Honka and Puljujarvi contracts would actually be for the 2020-21 season. Just liked seeing them slotted in. Wonder what it would cost to get Aho to complete the line......

This is what sucks about the jets "selling". they don't have much to sell. If Lowry was healthy I think contending teams would like him as a 4C and PK guy. Brossoit has value IMO but probably not a 2nd.

I would think CBJ accepts, not sure WPG does though, maybe if CBJ adds a mid-round conditional pick based on the number of games Murray plays would change their mind.

I was just trying to make use of excess cap space and make it cost neutral to Edmonton. I figure for next season the combined cost of the retention and Puljujarvi would be similar to the cost of Perreault's final year.
