Awful value for ANA. Not even close to what we’d expect.

Curious what Anaheim fans expect from a Manson trade.

There is nothing wrong with this value, Ana fans expect more not sure why, claim they have no room for a 20 goal winger on third line minutes but yet can't buy a goal from their plethora of middle 6 wingers. Manson brings 0 offense from the back end but is the defensive Dman the Leafs do need to pair with Rielly. Trade wise value is there, Ana fans will never be happy with any Manson trade unless of course it is a massive overpayment that drastically improves their team and hurts the Leafs.

The value is off and this doesn’t address team needs. We’d need a replacement for Manson. This has been explained multiple times.

Yeah, I’d want an overpayment. I like Manson. Clearly he’s having issues, but don’t see why he couldn’t bounce back. Getting scoring forwards is easy and can be done through the draft. Finding good quality D-men, especially those with the skill set that Manson has, is almost impossible. TOR fans should know this because you've been trying to address deficiencies on the backend for years. ANA needs to keep their good D-men. We’re not here to do TOR favours or offer fair value. If you want to commit the futures for the now, that’s up to you. If you don’t, that’s also up to you. We’re not giving you a discount and allowing you to dictate what Manson’s value is. There are plenty of teams that would outbid what TOR fans deem “fair” and we’d probably turn those offers down too.
