They need to get a 3rd year in that contract. I mean it's fine money wise and all, but for 5.5 mil you cannot be walking a 25 y/o dman like nurse to Ufa. Minimum 3 years @5.5.

I was expecting a morrissey comparable contract here in the range of 6-8 years at 5.75-6.25M.... Either the oilers aren't confident in him long term at that much, or Nurse is confident in drastically improving and thus making some heavy $ in 2 years. That third year should have been a must.

Man, now that you've pointed out the Morrisey contract this looks so much worse. I'm taking JM over DN everyday if the week and he is getting paid 750k less on TWO year term?

**** that is an underterm. He really should have gotten 5.5-6 for 5 years.

At the end of the day, term is more important to me than money, so it is still an okay contract but still...
