Price possibly fair but gives us 5 dmen that need protection going into expansion draft. If we have an outlet for one of the dmen to get better at forward then I think I’d be ok with it

I'd probably pass for the same reason above - don't really want to give up a draft exempt prospect for a d we would need to protect or potentially lose

How about if I remove the Lind for Tolvanen swap. Would it be fair then, cause even if you lose him to Seattle, getting 1 and a half year from a good young D by just giving up an okay prospect and a third is fine right?

I’d be fine with it as is if we had a plan for the expansion draft. Personally I think we need to trade ekholm prior to the draft since he will be 32 when his extension kicks in and he only has 1 year under contract post expansion. Ekholm/other dman is used to get forward talent or other expansion exempt talent.
