We have a better D in Poolman than Demelo...no need to waste picks...

DeMelo is definitely better than Poolman.

DeMelo gets less oZS%, and is a better CF% player, not to mention that he is better at ∆xG stats.

OTT denies this trade offer. DeMelo wont be moved for less than a 2nd.

DeMelo plays top pairing as a shut down D (2mins more than poolman per game), Has more defensive zone starts, on a worse team, and has better defensive stats

Yeah, he has 3 points less than Poolman, but he has a ton more experience (nearly 4x as many NHL games under his belt despite them being the same age)
