Kempny has struggled recently, IMO. I think Dillon is a perfect compliment to Carlson. Dillon's played over 500 minutes with Brent Burns this season, so he obviously has the chops to stick with an offensive defenseman of Carlson's caliber. He's also skated about 180 minutes with Erik Karlsson. You'll get a better bang for your buck with Dillon on the top pairing.
