Description
So it would seem like JG has several offers on the table for Kreider. My honest assumption right now is that due to the very high price tag, he is not signed. Supposedly CK wants 7X$7M and JG wants less term and less dollars. Why would CK give up possibly $10M when it is his last big contract? I’m going to throw a few trade scenarios out there that I’m guessing are close to accurate otherwise JG would have sat CK out and traded him if offers were too good to say no to.
My contract assumption is JG is not backing off of either 6X6.5 with clauses or 6X$6.75M with limited clauses?
Trades
1.
NYR
  1. Bjork, Anders
  2. Studnicka, Jack
  3. 2021 1st round pick (BOS)
BOS
I can’t send CK to all the places.
    Kreider 50% retained.
Boston gave up their 1 for Kase. We all heard the price from TSN which is very high. I dont think Boston is out on CK, but won’t be shocked if they’re more into trying to bring Joe a cup and giving up like a 2 for him.
2021 1, top prospect and a young roster player Bjork who can play top 9 hopefully so CK void isn’t totally there and left without replacement.
    2.
    COL
      Kreider
This is more of a hockey deal. Doonskoi has term on his deal and can fill in top 9. COL doesn’t have a 2 so they may not want to trade that 1 and have no picks until 3rd round? Kaut is one of there better prospects and Jost is a former first rounder who can use a change in scenery.
      3.
      NYR
      1. Bellows, Kieffer
      2. Wahlstrom, Oliver
      3. 2020 1st round pick (NYI)
      NYI
      1. Kreider, Chris
      Additional Details:
I have heard Friedman mention that the Islanders are one of the biggest CK players. I personally do not see it happening without an extension in place. But I also have a feeling that it would have to be an offer too good for JG to pass up on. Bellows is a top 9 F that is still young and can become a top liner, he has a very high ceiling. Normally I’d say that and a 1 is fair for both teams, but considering JG would face a lot of backlash if the Isles get CK and win the cup bc of him, it has to be a massive haul. Yes it may be too big of a haul, but also feel like if this is offered and JG says no, he needs to come up with a much better explanation than “oh it’s the Islanders and I don’t need the fans criticizing me if this doesn’t work out.” If best possible offer, you take it. Also just my opinion if this type of offer is there I wouldn’t be attempting to re-sign CK until 7.1 if Lou says he’d do this with no guarantee of re-signing him. have to take best offer if too good to pass up.

My guess is Bruins are out on Kreider and they would not give up that package.

I hope like hell they don’t bring Jumbo in. Just another Backes and no room for him to play. Taking Coyle of center would be a mistake. They could bench Nordy, slide Kuraly to LW and put Jumbo on 4C. But Nordy kills penalties, blocks shots, hits people. The kind of things you want in 4th. Jumbo does none of that. He’s not a help, he’s a detriment.

My own speculation has me thinking that Don’s after Lebanc. Maybe a Lebanc Thornton package. I only say that because Heinen was involved in some rumors and I could see him going the other way in a package for Jumblo and Lebanc. Just a thought
