Devils likely use the deep UFA goalie market to shore up the back up or bring up Senn. They also don't need any more center prospects and have bleeding needs elsewhere. A first is too much to give.

Who's the center prospect you're referencing? Fischer is a RW, but he plays a different type of game than what the Devils have now. He plays that workmanship type of game that I haven't seen a lot of from the Devils when I've seen them, especially up front. I also believe Raanta is better than anyone in the UFA market that will make it to July 1, with the exception of Lehner and Holtby. But those guys will command #1 starter's money, where Raanta gets you a nice tandem with Blackwood who can easily be extended. With three first rounders at the disposal, I think this can be a worthwhile move for them, but I also see why they'd be in favor of holding onto that pick. Just something I think makes a lot of sense for both sides.

I don't completely hate it but I don't see a goalie move happen with the asset capital until the trade deadline next year and Senn doesn't pan out. Right now the plan is either hanging on to Cory for one more year if he can recapture any of his old self or bring up Senn who has been good. Raymond is a right handed shot which is something the Devils do need so I would consider it. I saw him listed as a C so I was a little confused.

WOW - $80Mil for Hall!! With ARI he has 32GP @ 9G/16A for 25Pts and since he arrived I counted 13W and 19L for Coyotes...
Why give a soon to be 29yr old that kinda money and term??

Given that we most likely miss the playoffs, I'd say it's unlikely Hall stays. However, I do think that if he wants to stay, we should want him back. If he has a full training camp with the team and can build some more chemistry with either Dvorak or Hayton, he can get back to his point-per-game production. I also don't think that the Coyotes get any closer to the playoffs by Taylor Hall walking than we do by resigning him and getting rid of some of the guys that don't have a lot of skill in the lineup. We need offense, and subtracting Hall just makes the problem worse.
