Description

A healthy Bryan Little would be great news for the Jets. With the Connor-Scheifele-Laine line finding success, it allows for Little to be reunited with Wheeler with whom he has had excellent chemistry. The 2005 line stays together and Copp's line should provide excellent possession numbers. If Vesalainen isn't ready, Jets may need to sign a UFA to fir with that line.

Carolina has a gluttony of LHD with Slavin, Skjei, Gardiner, Bean and Fleury. They save $1.2M in the exchange which they will need with a flat cap. Jets will likely lose one of Gardiner or DeMelo to Seattle. By that time, hopefully two of Sanberg, Niku, Heinola, Dahlstrom and Stanley are ready for regular duty.

Do not want Gardiner. He’s a great offensive threat from the back end but but that’s about it, we need a good, shut down defender and Gardiner is not that. If we are making a trade we need to target a Pesce from Carolina or Manson from Anaheim or similar DMan
