I have an idea for the NHL to compensate for revenue loss, and ensure that the cap increases next year.

Throw toilet paper rolls in the stands between periods when the season resumes, to gain the crowd's sympathy. Then arrange for vendor stands to sell 24-roll value packs with boxes of sanitizing wipes everywhere across the arenas. Share the immense revenue gain across the league, which would easily allow for a 86.5M cap next year.

I agree. Tim and Myers essentially have the same cap, so TOR would be paying for 2 years of growth.
