I feel like anything this team does will only hurt the future right now. If they really feel like they need to do something then maybe go out and get edmundson on a 1 ye deal or something but otherwise, I think the young guys shoudl be given a chance to grow.

Would rather keep Harkins. Wonder if a Jessi for Sami swap would work. Change of scenery for each and each would probably thrive in their new organizations.
If Samberg won’t sign would Edmonton be interested in a Samberg + for Nurse?

A former 2nd rounder (from one of the deepest drafts ever) and an above pt/gm ahl player who got a callup and stuck on a very good forwards corps. The kid has 2c potential (more likely a very good 3C). He definitely isn’t a no one. And he is a proven talent vs a guy we would be taking a chance on. I understand if Edmonton doesn’t think it’s worth it but harkins definitely isn’t a no one. Though Edmonton does need a 3C and imo harkins can be that right now. Also he is only a year older than Jp
