Description

It appears his agent said last week that he was getting 'strong interest' from Avangard Omsk and one of Metallurg Magnitogorsk or Metallurg Novokuznetsk (probably the former).

If he does leave, the Coyotes will lose a decently good middle-6 winger that contributed well on special teams. It could also possibly free up a spot in the lineup for Dylan Strome (or Conor Garland, but Garland has the option to play in the AHL next season, unlike Strome). Jamie McGinn would have to move to the right wing, but Strome playing on the 3rd line with Brad Richardson and Shane Doan seems like a good situation to start him off in. Strome could also be slotted into PP2.
