Description
-Add depth who can skate without breaking the bank
-Get Jones off the books if there is the CBO option.
-Lehner and Markstrom will cost too much, but giving a two-year deal to one of the older FAs and bringing in guys who had success in the AHL this year would be a good move.
-Should leave some wiggle room for a mid-season deal if they are competitive.

-Is the Virtanen move realistic? Ideally, they can avoid trading those two high draft picks.

VAN decline, they have no reason to trade Virtanen afters years of patiently developing him to a very useful player.

I agree and the return isn’t fair value besides I wana see what merk can be in the nhl
For Johansson add the 2nd from colorado and it’s more reasonable but I like that team.

A few problems. Sharks aren’t trading Merkley and certainly not for that return with a 2nd and Blichfeld. Brodzinski only further proved he couldn’t cut it in the nhl, he’s a waste of a contract at this point. You’ve basically traded all of our best current prospects for underwhelming players..absurd when the Sharks biggest problems of late are prospect depth. It’s foolish to trade players before they develop especially when its for aging depth forwards like Johnansson. This isn’t a fix, it makes things much worse.
